Cultural Planning Assistance

This division of DCA provides assistance to cultural organizations and artists with questions regarding space and facility planning. We can help you answer questions or find information about:

• arts facility development planning assistance from the early planning stages, to getting the final city approvals;
• working with the city: figuring out zoning, regulations, licensing, building code, inspections;
• evaluating and finding appropriate locations for arts facility development: where are the incentives, what’s permitted where, what building types work for you.
