InFusion Theatre Company presents a world premiere by Chicago playwright, Margaret Lewis. The oppression and tyranny of a Southern plantation is the backdrop for the struggles of Cora, a young slave girl, who wants independence but is caught in the middle of a dangerous love triangle with her owner and another slave. Through story and dance, one gets a glimpse of a proud history and tradition that is shut down by the repressive world of pre-Civil War America.
