Accessibility

All of DCA Theater’s spaces are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. We also have a wheelchair on-site which may be used to transport patrons to and from their seats. If wheelchair accessible seating, use of our on-site wheelchair, or other special assistance is required, please contact the ticket office at 312-742-8497.


DCA Theater provides large print programs upon request and offers sign language interpretation and “touch tours” at some events. Please ask the ticket office about current availability of these services.



DCA Storefront Theater


The accessible entrance to DCA Storefront Theater (also the main entrance) is located at 66 E. Randolph Street. The entry doors can be opened automatically. Public restroom facilities are located on ground level and are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. The elevator to the right of the ticket office provides access to the mezzanine which offers a private restroom for patrons who require assistance.



DCA Studio Theater


The accessible entrance to DCA Studio Theater in the Chicago Cultural Center is located at 77 E. Randolph Street. The right-hand set of the main entry doors can be opened automatically. Public restroom facilities are located on ground level and are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs.

Claudia Cassidy Theater


The accessible entrance to the Claudia Cassidy Theater in the Chicago Cultural Center is located at 77 E. Randolph Street. The right-hand set of main entry doors can be opened automatically. Elevators to the right and left of the main staircase provide access to the second floor where the theater is located. A wheelchair lift inside the theater lobby provides access to the seating area (there is also a lift which provides access to the stage). Public restroom facilities are located at the entrance to the theater and are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. Assisted listening devices are offered free of charge with prior reservation from the ticket office (312-742-8497).
