SYTYCD fans, meet KTF!

If you’re looking for an incredible night out that meshes the high stakes of “competitive dance with the energy of late-night theatre and the spectacle of sports entertainment,” check out Chicago Dance Crash‘s upcoming Keeper-of-the-Floor (KTF) Competition. In anticipation of the upcoming production of Gotham City, this KTF is called Batdance! [note: In honor of the Batman theme, the audience is asked to wear all black!]
What you’ll see:
- around 10 of Chicago’s best dancers live, in-person, battling for the KTF title
- several rounds of competition covering all different types of dance
- the incredible host/emcee, Mattrick Swayze

What you’ll get:
- the chance to judge all the dancers & determine a winner with the sound of your screams & applause! [note: The current champion is Richard Ashworth of Chicago Tap Theatre, and he will be on-hand defending his title!]
- the opportunity to enjoy drinks and food before, during, and after the show at the Mayne Stage’s bar & restaurant
- a chance to meet the dancers afterwards to party and enjoy the night!

Though this event is Gotham City-themed, past KTFs have featured themes of: Prince, the 80s, Tag Team competitions, and an Open Invitational where anyone off the street could compete!
