Sansculottes Theater Company presents Practical Anatomy (book and lyrics by Elizabeth Bagby, music by Elizabeth Bagby and Ethan Balis). This world-premiere musical tells the true story of William Burke and William Hare, who killed sixteen of Edinburgh’s poorest residents so as to sell their bodies to the College of Surgeons, and ambitious Dr. Robert Knox, who nearly let them get away with it.
