Strangeloop Theatre presents What Was Mine to Do written by Dustin Spence and directed by Doug Long
What Was Mine to Do examines the War in Afghanistan and the way it is portrayed in the news media. Split between a prison cell in Eastern Afghanistan and a television news studio in Chicago, and set against the backdrop of the 2008 American presidential elections, What Was Mine to Do focuses on the kidnapping of reporter Frank Bernhardt. What Was Mine to Do examines how people halfway around the globe can deeply impact each other’s lives and what that means in our ever shrinking world.
Strangeloop Theatre examines the theatricality in life and art, and explores the relationship between the story and the telling.
